Arbutus Music

The Arbutus Music Program wishes to recognize and acknowledge the Esquimalt, Songhees and WSÁNEĆ Nations on whose traditional territories we live, learn and make music together. 

We have a long and proud tradition of excellence in instrumental and choral music at Arbutus Global Middle School.  We are dedicated to supporting students in pursuing their passion in music, providing many opportunities for learning and growth of young musicians, and creating a positive environment for learning and collaboration. Welcome to our learning community!

For the past seven years we have participated in the CBC Music Class Challenge.  This pursuit has inspired us to be creative in arranging a Canadian song and deliver a product that we can all be proud of. Check out our past entries below:
